He began his career at the age of seven in 1979, and his professional career began in 1989, when he was 17, in Norway with Bryne FK.
He relocated to England in 1993 to begin a new chapter in his career with Nottingham Forest and made his debut with Leicester City.

Unfortunately, his career was cut short following a knee injury from Roy Keane. It resulted in his family's move to Norway.

Many members of Erling Haaland's family and friends still despise Manchester United because of Keane.

Prior to his retirement, he had also played for the Norway National Team in the 1990 Norway U17 tournament and the Norway U21 competition (1991 to 1993).

On the other hand, Haaland's mother, Braut was a former heptathlete. Her sport is called Heptathlon, which should help you grasp it. It is a sport for women where each athlete participates in seven different tracks and fields combined.

It seems like he inherited the athletic gene from his parents.

The versatile child, like his mother, competed in sports such as handball, golf, and track and field. While playing football, Haaland also participated in Heptathlon activities.

However, in his childhood interview, Erling said that he learned to score goals on his own, rather than from his father. During this time he began to form the popular vision of becoming one of his country's top footballers.

Based on the photographs, his parents appear to have a significant age difference. However, the exact date of his mother's birth is unavailable.
